Juggling 12 units and having breast cancer has been alot of fun. A challenge, something that has kept me alive and learning outstanding information I was probably not aware of. I try my best to complete all my work and extra assignments but in those days that the pain takes over and the nausea and overall, fuchii..sysmtoms I just have to email my instructors and explain to them my sittuation and make up for it. Participate in class discussions, give my own opinions and get involved in the subject at hand. Key word definitions help me study. Doing them as standards help me also. Writing them over and over again. But if it wasnt for me challenging myself by coming back to school after 2002 and fighting this desease that has tried to dominate me by making my self esteem go down, making me feel as if im falling apart has been a real struggle to deal with. But you know what I am A strong Woman Raised from 3 mos. to 8n years old in Guatemala by my humble grandparents and being born in New York ( makes me an automatically big Apple) So coming to california at 8 years old and just being introduced to my parents for thee first time wasnt easy dealing with either.
